The changes from the 06
22 edition have been incorporated into this article and highlighted in bold.
The only difference
between the CR DS 05–Fidelity and Forgery Policy Declarations and DS 02–Commercial
Crime Policy Declaration is that the only insuring agreements listed on the CR
DS 05 are:
a.
Employee Theft-Per Loss Coverage
b.
Employee Theft-Per Employee Coverage

The following insuring
agreements in the Commercial Crime Policy are not in the Commercial Fidelity
and Forgery Policy:
The Commercial Fidelity
and Forgery Policies contain only two Insuring Agreements: 1. Fidelity and
2. Forgery or Alteration, along with their respective sub-agreements. The changes
introduced in the 06 22 edition of the Commercial Crime Form are
identical to those in the Fidelity Policy. Additionally, the wording in these
insuring agreements is identical to that in the Commercial Crime Policy.
The Limits and
Deductible sections are identical in both policies.
1. The following exclusions
in the Commercial Crime Policy are not in the Fidelity and Forgery
Policy:
·
Governmental
Action
·
Nuclear
Hazard
·
Pollution
·
War
and Military Action
·
Exclusions
applicable to Insuring Agreements A. 3., A. 4., A. 5., A. 6., A. 7.,
and A. 8. are not found in the Fidelity and Forgery Policy
because the policy does not cover those specific Insuring Agreements.
None of the conditions under E.3.e.
Conditions Applicable to Insuring Agreements A. 7—Fraudulent Impersonation in
the Commercial Crime Policy apply to the Fidelity and Forgery Policy,
since it does not include this Insuring Agreement.
This is an update with
the 06 22 edition due to the reformatting of the Policies and Coverage
Forms in the Condition sections. Conditions are now presented similarly in both
the Insuring Agreements, reducing noticeable differences. However, the Fidelity
and Forgery Policy remains limited to only two Insuring Agreements: A.1
and A.2.
The following defined terms in the
Commercial Crime Policy are not in the Fidelity and Forgery Policy because
the coverages they apply to are not part of that policy.
NOTE: The definition of occurrence in the Fidelity and Forgery Policy does not reference all other Insuring Agreements in
the Commercial Crime Policy, as it excludes those Insuring Agreements.
